Harvest Season, Sunday Dinner, and Recipes from Community!
As you know, each quarter, we host a virtual meal for Black Minnesotans as a means of convening, breaking bread, dialoguing and building collective power. Well, during the Harvest season, we felt it important to reimagine that meal based on our commitment to our Indigenous loved ones, the history of white supremacy and capitalism tied into this season, and the many people in great need at this time.
With all of those things in mind, we instead decided to share the Sunday Dinner zine with you all and honor the contributors and attendees of past events while encouraging us all to remember and honor the people, food, places and memories that truly nurture us, at all times.
Big thank you to every single Sunday Dinner supporter, attendee, performer, discussion host and more. We can’t wait to see you all in February!
