Hip Hop Education

TruArtSpeaks has a robust list of teaching artists in our network, each representative of some element or aspect of Spoken Word and Hip Hop culture, and beyond.

Our crew is rooted and trained in the pillars of our pedagogical practice, engaging in ongoing and regular development opportunities to ensure that they are constantly enhancing their craft along with their ability to facilitate the safest space possible for learners at all stages, of all ages, and make-ups.

We believe in Hip Hop as a tool for personal and social transformation, never teaching art for art’s sake, always staying true to the culture, and hoping to be a part of one’s ever-growing knowledge of self through art practice.
